We’re Crossing an Ocean to Fight Veteran PTSD and Suicide.
We are four veterans from different branches of the military who are rowing across the Atlantic Ocean to raise awareness for PTSD and Veteran suicide.
Did You Know?
When leaving the military, veterans face serious challenges transitioning back to civilian life. Unfortunately, many veterans struggle with cognitive mental health issues such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), re-integration and identity issues, financial and/or housing problems among other difficulties. The Foar from Home team has partnered with the Cross the Line Foundation (501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization) in Nassau County, Florida to raise awareness and funds for “Now Veteran Need” programs like “K-9 for Warriors” and “Fire Watch*” that are operating in North Florida and are in need of funding. We are on a mission to raise awareness of the PTSD and veteran suicide issues plaguing our nation’s warriors with a stated goal of raising $500,000 for these programs.
